Pulled Pork

5 pound Pork Roast (off bone) /6 pounds with bone

3/4 to 1 cup of Cast Iron Pam Taco Seasoning recipe

2 Large Yellow Onions- sliced

1  12 oz. can of Coke (Pepsi, R.C. or other cola)

Preheat oven to 250 degrees.

Using gloves, heavily coat roast with taco seasoning and rub in well.

Put roast into Dutch oven or roasting oven.

Put in sliced onions and Coke.

Put lid on.

Cook  6 hours. DO NOT OPEN during cooking!

After 6 hours remove from pan.

Shred using two forks.

Put into serving dish with enough juice to coat meat.

Serve with rice, beans, and salad.

NOTES:

1.  In cooler weather I do this in my dutch oven in the house. When it's hot I do it outside in my roasting oven on top of my barbecue with

 the lid pulled down on it. Why? Because one time I had it outside on my porch and my golden retriever got into it and ate the whole 

thing. The only thing left of it was a small portion of the bone from it. Good thing I love my dog or she would be someone else's dog by

 now.

2.  The left overs makes wonderful burritos and enchiladas.
